We just got home from running errands this afternoon and I had sat down in the recliner. Outside I saw Chloe shoot across the yard carrying something in her mouth. I yelled for Chris to come quick, and ran to shut the doggie door. Chloe had caught a squirrel and was proudly showing it off. Yuck!! I'm so grateful that she didn't make it into the house with that terrible thing.
I was really surprised that either dog could catch a squirrel, but Chris said they caught a bird last week. I guess when they are acting like they are so tired it's because they've been hunting in our backyard.
