In honor of their month discussing community helpers, Cameron's class took a field trip to the post office on Tuesday. Both teachers and postal workers should be considered very brave individuals for unleashing 3 year olds in a place of business. Overall the class did well, and seemed interested in what our guide had to say. A favorite of the morning was cramming all of them into a postal delivery truck. We had our friend Sam and Owen ride over to the office with us, so it was an equally exciting trip for all 3 boys. Cam & Owen even got to sit at the postmaster's desk - he retired earlier this year an no one has replaced him yet.
It was a great trip idea and we are so glad that Mrs. Angie, Mrs. Lisa, Ms. Haley, and Mrs. Joy were crazy enough to suggest it.
